The Story Behind L2LL
Hi! Nice to e-meet you.
I'm Shea Kerry, and I graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, along with a certificate in Marketing. I studied biomedical engineering because I've always been fascinated by the human body and the technology that can help it heal. After college, I founded a mission-based startup that helps families raising neurodivergent students find the right school fit. I know how much people can thrive when the world actually makes room for how other minds work.
Beyond my professional passions for medicine and helping others, I love traveling and being a sponge (aka learning new things). After high school, I took a gap year and realized there's more to life than just education and work. When I lived in Senegal, my host family, friends, and community taught me something important: always keep learning from others and from yourself, and remember that life is not that serious. (So... maybe I'm still working on that last one.)
That brings me to why the heck you're here with me today. I would love to tell you that after my gap year, poof, this whole website concept just appeared in my lap, but I think the real magic is that the idea existed before I even knew it myself. Back in 3rd or 4th grade, I was doodling in the margins of my notebook, the way kids do when they're trying to make time pass until they can leave class. Then junior year of high school, in my Photoshop class, we had to design a logo. I used that same doodle and that's when I named it Live 2 Love Life, a little reminder to myself to actually do that: love life, ups and downs and everything in between.
I also wanted a creative outlet, so my childhood spark could stay alive. That's why I share my explorations, the lessons I pick up along the way, and small life updates. Sometimes I write, sometimes I record an audio journal, and sometimes I make a video.
I love sharing my experiences and learning from others, so feel free to comment on a post or reach out. Iād love to hear your story too.
